    Hi,

I live in Southern CA. I would love recommendations for a ground cover for a steep southwest facing slope-- lots of sun.

I'd like something fast growing, hardy, and attractive (except to bees).

    The slope has good irrigation.

    Many thanks!

How about Aptenia cordifolia, I have a steep hillside out front of my home and it does well there. It's kind of like iceplant only lower growing. The hot pink flowers do draw bees in Spring. But it is an attractive easy care groundcover. I grow taller plants in it, like medium size agaves, aloes, and larger succulents.
