How pretty! I love cosmos. My yellow and orange seeds didn't make it this year but the dark pinks and maroons did.

My Cosmic Orange Cosmos(that's what the package says but it looks more like Diablo Cosmos to me) opened for the first time today! My first year gardening. My Viola and 4 oclocks started opening too!

since i'm successful with the yellow cosmos seeds from my neighbor i've bought some more seeds on ebay and they've sprouted too: the eight paper pots contain zinnia and the white container has cosmos sensation mix seedlings. I'm really excited! I feel like a true gardener hehehe

This year I planted Burpee Summer Sunshine Mix in a large pot. Package says shades of yellow, orange, gold, and red. So far I have just orange. But I really like these. They grow only 18-24 inches tall. :>)
