Early Maturing this year

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

I think it must be the 100 degree heat but my tomatoes are maturing early this year.65 day tomatoes mature in 50 days, 85 day ripe in 60 days. A crazy year.

Agreed, as if they were desperate to grow! Are they tasting ok anyway? Flavor still good?

The taste is great. So far I've had 2 varieties that are ripening early.

The temps are how we age them to ship, so it stands to reason they are ripening on cue to the temps being so fierce, enjoy!

Ditto here. I had my first ripe tomato on 6/30, and last night I picked half a dozen more. And everywhere I look, more are ripening. Alas, everywhere I look the new flowers are drying up, too, so it may be a very early, SHORT season!
