After I moved from Northern California to North Carolina I discovered the misery of chigger bites. Mine weren't just itchy but very painful. I searched for a less toxic yard treatment & found that sulfer dust is great at repelling chiggers! I buy the Lilly Miller brand that's available locally but you can use any you like. I just sprinkle it on my lawn where they seem to congregate & now I can walk through my backyard without getting attacked!
It's good to hear from someone who has working experience with the lawn treatment! I've had lots of experience with getting the bites, but thankfully not at home in my own yard and garden. Thanks for sharing your experience with sulfur.
