I have successfully grown lotus for many years but this is the first time there have been so few flowers and the leaves are quite small. The sparse flowers in the other pots have been smaller than usual too. I spoke with another person in my area and she said hers had not bloomed yet this year either.
They were all divided and properly planted. The winter and spring was unusually warm this year, my first thought was that they needed additional fertillizer but frankly, they were puny looking when they first came up.
Are others having this problem this year?
