Beginner Flowers: Mexican Heather

themoonhowl Prairieville, LA (Zone 9a) July 21, 2012 8:52 AM Post #9213314	You will find a tiny swelling at the base of the spent flower. Pollinated flowers will form seeds in this swelling. After the flower dies and the swelling starts browning, you can snip off the tiny seed pod (swelling)...the seeds are tiny like small flecks of pepper. http://books.google.com/books?id=Cpq_V16kp0wC&pg=PA30&lpg=PA...
