My husband's parents live in western Nebraska where they've had 90 degree plus weather every day this July, and many days over 100. Today is supposed to be 103. Very unusual for them as they usually have a hot week or so then the rest of the summer is about 85 with rain every few days. My MIL remembers the dust bowl days when her family became migrant farmers and moved to Washington, so she hasn't complained much since they have a window a/c. They're a hearty bunch for sure and I thought showed good humor sending us this picture of their new rain gauge.
