Did you try more than once? I don't know anything about Silverlight for posting pictures, but there's a website I belong to that uses it as a document/page viewer for journal articles that they've made available electronically. Every now and then I'll get an error when I'm trying to open a document but usually if I try again it works fine. Or worst case if I restart my browser then it works again.
