is a day when American reared children play this game. One is allowed to pinch anyone who does not wear green or carry green on that day.

How about "Simon Says"? The "it" says different commands, all starting with Simon Says - like Simon Says touch your nose, Simon Says tap your head, Simon Says close your eyes, etc, then says something without starting with Simon Says and the person to do it anyway becomes "it"! Great for indoors or out, except outside you can say things like Simon Says take 10 steps backwards!

Also we used to count white horses on car trips and keep track - when you got 100 white horses, you had to count a white mule or donkey and then you won and the others owed you a treat! It would be hard to do now with too few horses being pastured anymore!
