This is my favorite shape. So elegant. Sue once to me to a grower/hybridizer of daylilies and he had a lot of this kind. I just loved them.

I like the light and airy look of them. The doubles of typical daylilies just look too crowded to me.

Sadly, I do not know so much about daylilies! Here clumps grow so huge they take over a garden. Mine is way to small. I know you are much more an expert!

I was looking at the same photographer's other lily photos and this double looked great to me though I do admit I am partial to so orange blooms.

You'd need to wear gloves to deadhead 100 of them. I love volume but prefer it in lobster rolls! (You knew I'd get there!)

No fair! I have never had such a lobster roll. And I have nothing yet to serve for dinner. I have not cooked since last week but I think I am out of excuses tonight. Then we are back out the next 2 nights. I am getting beyond bad. If you could only send me 2 of those lobster rolls thru the computer, I would be eternally happy.

Just fly over to Eastham, Cape Cod, and head for Arnold's every weekend. In summer they're open daily but now it's probably just Friday through Sunday. Happy cooking!

I so wish, all but the fly part.

It is 5:19 and Tom is almost home and I have not gone to store yet. I so suck at being a housewife. Out the door now.
