    This weed has taken over my sister's garden in Ohio. Any idea what on earth it is? It grows maybe 3 or 4 feet tall (so far anyway) and has a long red tap root.

    If that's what it is than it's eatable. I wish now I hadn't pulled up the 2 or 3 that showed up in my garden.

    If eating it is your only concern - from that image there will be the opportunity to feed the world.

    There'll be so many seeds produced there, the site will never be rid of the plant. Fret not.
