I had to move all my orchids outside after a few of them got infested with ants.. What's the best way to eliminate an ant infestation short of repotting?

Does an insecticidal soap drench work, and will that harm my orchids?

If you scroll down a bit, I had the same issue and found a lot of good advice. The thread is named Ants. I found Terro placed on the edge, not media, of the pot it worked wonders

Now we know what the midwest and points east went through. Air conditioners are irrelevant. And as far as trying to do any outside work. Forget it. Come home and just water everything. It's all dry
