Hi Folks, I am a relative newcomer to the South, having moved to NC about 2 weeks ago. I love walking around my neighborhood and seeing all of the flowering, trees, shrubs, etc. even in August. It all feels right to me. I am looking for recommendations for an arborist in the Asheville/Buncombe County area. I have some lovely mature trees on my small property but some of them don't look healthy. I don't know if this is the right place to pose this question since I am not a poster, blogger, etc. I do share your love for gardening though! Thanks for your help. All advice is welcome. Virginia

You are asking in the right place. Try going to your county's Cooperative Extension office. They may be able to recommend someone.
Where did you move from? Asheville is a gorgeous place!

Thanks Barb, I will try that. To answer your question, I came from Stamford CT, which can also be beautiful. I am very happy to be a Carolina girl now. Appreciate your help, Virginia
