Hi my stupid neighbor cut the grass and mowed down my basil . Will it grow back ?

it depends on how high the mower was set. if there are still axils, you will probably get new lateral branches.

well my parsleys are growing back ,as is my parsly root my spearmint and my peppermint.FYI it was purple basil

it will take more than a lawn mower to kill mints. you might want to grow your mints in pots.

Basil needs trimmed back once in awhile, just not brutally. How about stakes so he can run into those?
