OH Drat and Double Drat.

I just saw Phyllis Diller a few weeks ago on Roseanne Barr's reality series Roseanne's Nuts. Flipping through the channels and heard the laugh....

I guess with Tony Scott he chose how he was gonna go....

We musn't forget the ground crews. I always wonder how many sleepless nights were stumbled through by all these folks.

The name of that movie was "The Party," and I know that because my whole dance troupe was in that movie. We were the Russian dancers that washed the elephant. The thing that amazed us the most on that set was the way the camera plays tricks and makes some people look great and others not so great. Blake Edwards, the director, was married to Julie Andrews and Peter Sellers was married to Britt Ekland at the time, so both of those ladies were on the set often. Although Britt had always looked much prettier in photos and movies than Julie, the opposite was true when you saw them in person. Britt Ekland was rather plain and rat-faced, whereas Julie Andrews was absolutely gorgeous.
