Looking for recipe from Woman's Day encyclopedia of cookery published in 1966. The recipe was simple and used light corn syrup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
don't know if this is the same one you are looking for but i have used it for 30 yrs.
5 c. popped corn
2 lg marshmallows cut up
1 c. Powder Sugar
3 tbsp. Corn Syrup
1 tbsp Butter
1 1/2 tsp Water
Put popcorn in lg enough bowl that you can mix the syrup into it. In med. pot place all the ingredients except popcorn and bring to boil over med. heat, stirring until marshmallow has melted. Pour syrup over popcorn and mix mell. I use woodedn spoon grease with butter. When cool enough to handle shaped into lemon sized balls with buttered hands. Can add decorations with chocolate chips, sprinkles, mini candies etc. Let set up for about 15 minutes then wrap in saran wrap and store at room temp.
