    Not sure if these are the same skipper. I know 2 & 3 are the same butterfly, but 1 & 4 may be other ones as the pics are several minutes apart. These plainer ones are confusing to me. The ones with more distinct patterns are a lot easier.

    The BugGuide.net pic cited is for a Clouded skipper. The original BugGuide requestor thought it was Dun but BugGuide experts correctly ID as Clouded skipper. Your two specimens are Clouded skippers, a male and a female.
