Last one, I promise. I got 5 pics of this one, but they all look the same. It didn't move until it flew away and I didn't see it again. It is sitting on buckwheat seed heads.
Common Checkered-Skipper and White Checkered-Skipper are nearly identical, but based on range, it is probably the Common Checkered-Skipper (Pyrgus communis).
