While visiting my daughter this weekend, I noticed something odd. On several shrubs there was a thread-like web crossing from one branch to another. In the center of each thread is a pendulous strip with 4 or five round 1/8 inch things. Does anyone know what this is?? Thanks!! Ron K ronlene@bellsouth.net

Maybe an orb weaver known as a trashline spider - http://www.abundantnature.com/2011/10/trashline-orb-weaver-cool-spider.html
