I've had a small patch partly shaded by a vitex shrub for several years. This year, I suppose due the extreme heat and drought, or maybe also the increasing shade from the enlarging shrub, the patch has thinned and never bloomed. Hopefully it will survive and recover next year. I've missed its blooms.
