    Hello,
I am wondering if someone can explain what the substance is on the leaves of this jostaberry seedling? I am assuming it is not desirable.

    Thanks for any help!

Not really sure from pictures, is the white matter powdery, is so, it would be more likely grey mould, if you cant rub it off gently, it could be birds droppings, or maybe it is insect excrement, I just cant make it out clearly and sorry about that,
How and when are you watering the seedlings, I would make sure you dont let water get onto the foliage as in your heat this can start mould, if that is what the plants have, make sure they are well watered, start feeding them and keep a close eye out for this spreading if it's mould.
Wish could help a bit more but maybe someone else can come in and help further.
    Good luck, WeeNel.
