Ecellant photo!! Good depth and clarity. I'm jealous! I can't take pictures like this with my cell phone and am still saving up to get a new 35 mm camera.

Thanks. I'm surprised how rare this plant seems to be, considering it's a Deutzia. marti001, the point and shoot digital cameras are quite reasonable - I'm sure a few suggestions in the Cameras & Photography forum http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/camera/all/ can be found in your price range. My camera was under $500 5 years ago but I'm sure it's much cheaper now (Nikon D40).

The camera I would love to have again is a Canon with mulitple lens. My stolen camera had 1000mm zoom, a wide angle, and several special close-up lens. I could take pictures of an ants eye and have a clear, detailed picture of it. I used to do ametuer photography so I needed all those lens.
Cost for the camera with one lens, $800.00. the extra lens will run the cost up to almost $2000.00. Hard to pay on disablity insurance income. So will have to settle for something else.
