Beginner Houseplants: I.D. Please

I was given this plant as a seedling, and it's growing quickly and well on the windowsill in full sun...but no-one has any idea what it is.
As new leaves appear the older ones drop off. It's currently 6" - 8" tall and is producing strange white inconspicuous flowers.
