Found this guy hanging out on my curtains today. Scared the crap out of me and I'm now ready to burn my house down. Friends have said they think it's a wolf spider. Any thoughts?

It is a wolf spider, maybe a Hogna sp. - beneficial and not dangerous,

FYI, Wolfs hunt other spiders so, instead of burning down the house(and now I have that song stuck in my head...), you may want to keep both it and the spider. I have a couple roaming my basement. ^_^
