what are the names ? are they perennials.?
Agreed, the first looks like Blue Flax:
I have this in my garden, and love it! I often collect the dried seed heads and sprinkle the seeds in areas where I'd like a blue accent. It is well-behaved and stays where I plant it. It also reblooms repeatedly if I sheer off the top 1/3 after it is done blooming.
Mine does, too. The pretty flowers bloom heavily in Spring then sporadically through until Winter.
