I tried for years to get this plant and am still so happy I did. Bauhinia aureifolia was impossible to find in this country, so I had to go through a lot to get seeds that finally germinated but now it never disappoints. The new leaves are a beautiful burnt orange for about a week as they grow and reach full size, then turn green over a couple days. Leaves are huge(7+) and it continuously is producing more so it is always so colorful. Hasn't flowered but I don't really care, other than it would be nice to grow new ones from fresh seed.
