I think this is a cultivar and not the straight species. I have this type too-and its blooming right now. The much darker green and lack of strong striping set it apart.

Don't know if it is a cultivar, thats why it's posted under Sansevieria trifasciata (no cultivar). Looks like not many are the straight species, most of the others look like mine.
