hi! can you help me ID this plant? I live in Jerusalem (hot, dry during the summers, which is when this plant started to grow- don't know where it came from!)

Do you have pine type trees around there? That's what it looks like to me.

An Aleppo Pine Pinus halepensis seedling.

Looks light-starved, it'll do best planted out in full sun (but water regularly until the roots are established into the surrounding soil).
