Our double red hibiscus is now covered with several blooms and ALL it's leaves indoors, where it has been all year. I learned my lesson that this is an INDOOR plant. It receives sufficient light from the south-facing window all year, and no longer gets shocked by seasonal change from outdoors to in. Our southern summer heat outdoors is too much for this one. Keep it inside and enjoy in the living room year-round!
