    Yet another vine to identify. No flowers, unfortunately, but the leaves are quite distinctive, so maybe someone will recognize it. I also included a picture of the growth tip showing the fuzzy nature of the stems. The vine is growing abundantly here is in Southern California.

    I expect that's a Clematis sp. of some sort, with the trifoliate leaves and opposite arrangement.

    C. lasiantha is very common. In SoCal it could also be C. ligusticifolia.

    Excellent. I suspect ligusticifolia is right, but will wait for blooms and if it is deciduous.
