My cat, Diago, spends his day, literally, escorting people up and down the street on "his territory line" here in town. As soon a pedestrian gets to either end of our lot on one street, Diago bounds toward him to escort him past the property!

At night he is perfectly content to stay inside and sleep! Tonight was, apparently, really boring; his rest was a constant restless reshuffling of his position!

Adorable. Our cat Izzy goes on walks with me and our two new schnauzer puppies, now a year old. The cat is the same age.

The neighbors think it is hysterical. The puppies no longer sleep in their crate so she has taken it over. They have not figured out that is where she is hiding.

Weighs in at about 14 lbs and is one big personality! I have owned several cats and am amazed at how different each is...just like people...all different and lovable in his own way!

We were devastated this morning to find Diago's body. We were concerned when he did not come as usual when called last evening. Apparently he was guarding our street and refused to move when a car came by. RIP, my friend.

So sorry about Diago. It always makes me nervous when Izzy, our cat, will not come in at night.

My condolences on the loss of Diago. I was just meeting him now and already I'm too late. What a wonderful escort he was!
