I need help id the purple aquatic flower...it doesn't look like nymphaea...any help is appreciated...

The image is too small and indistinct to be sure, but I recall an aquatic Ruellia, and it reminded me of that. The taller plant looks like Thalia dealbata, and it's not that.

not the thalia, the leaves of that purple flower look like lily pads, except a bit smaller.

If you were to post a more detailed close-up picture, we might be better able to help ID the thing.
