This is the one that I bought last year, it doesn't grow very tall, but it's very colourful..
The others are all just about to flower too.

Another lovely spotty, Anthony...
Nearly all of mine are about to flower...can't wait to see some more of your seedlings growing in my garden.
plus those double liliums even if they only flower this year...
Then there are those L.speciosum albas...
My little L.nepalense are going around and around in the pot...they look well though...I would imagine that it will take a while before they flower...

One stunning white, they called it American White.
looked like the Regale but was pure white.
And I had a new one open this morning...
It seems to be liking the spot it's in & has more flowers this year.
Stronger colour as well.
I decided to experiment & gave it some pollen...

Its not a good year for mine. Some didnt even come up and those that did are not as tall as usual.
I put it down to the weird weather.
Smaller flowers too. Maybe better next year.
I will have to do a bit more buying for more variety.
It seems the Asiatics are the way to go for me here so I will be looking for something different in them , away from the yellows. pinks and oranges.

How dd the lily show go ?- lets say the quality bar was raised at least 2 levels,.,.We broke all entry records- even attendance records,.I managed to scrape in 'Ametuer stem Champion'- with a Conc'D'Or stem of very good quality,...But take a look at this brilliant Aurelian seedling

Anthony, that bloom is so lovely.
Congrats on the show too. It must have been your masterful organising that made the whole thing such a success.

Worth keeping then?

after hearing that Tigers were undesirable company for respectable lilies I tried to remove these ones...

looks like I left something behind.

Love the way the petals curve so far back.

Teresa, they are one of my favorite lilies. I remember them from when I was a child. Every garden had its tigers.
Keep them especially as they are doubles. I have never seen any doubles among mine.
I think they are one of the hardiest of all the lilies. Mine keep coming up and flowering even without my care. Some years they are smaller but still there.
Jean.
