This was on a hilltop in Sharon, MA growing wild. I know nothing about Cedars so any help would be appreciated. :)

Common name is red cedar but it's actually a juniper (Juniperus virginiana).

Not a cedar at all, it's an Eastern Juniper Juniperus virginiana
