We've been eating persimmons from our tree for about 10 years. They don't get to be very large, but they are tasty nuggets in the fall.

We think they're tasty too. Last night I chopped up one and mixed it in with our green beans and everyone loved it. Persimmons add a pleasant, mild, sweetness to foods. I've been experimenting with freezing them too and thought they might bust in the freezer, but they didn't. They froze nice and solid like an ice cube. Have you ever tried freezing them?

    thanks for posting

    Enjoy your nutritious Persimmons!
