I remember my Mother planting a start of this by our maple tree (where she has a large flower bed) that was in our back yard years ago. She used it as a border. She got a start of it from her friend who said it was supposed to ward off moles and gophers. I have NO idea if that EVER worked but I remember it's pretty green color and its soft feathery feeling when you rubbed your hands on it. I have always remembered this plant with a certain fondness. I also remember it took over rapidly and she ended up 'purging' from her garden after a few years! LOL!
