This plant is all over everywhere this time of year - garden and even found at edge of woods. Not a big problem as it hoes up easily, but I have been seeing it all my life (long, long time!!). My weed identification book doesn't help. Can anyone identify it? We are in the Granville County area of North Carolina (near Raleigh).
Tom - thanks for your information. After following your id with plant books, I think you are right. I saw a picture of a Gnaphalium in its summer form and realized I have been pulling this for years - just did not realize that the winter rosette was the same plant. Thanks again.
