I posted this on Seed Saving forum also, but not sure it will get answered.
I thought this was Angelonia seed, but I thought Angelonia seed was black about the size of a pin head. This seed is tan and like dust. Please Advise.

This is not Nicotania. I believe it's Angelonia seed. I think I cut it off of an Angelonia plant. I have never seen Angelonia seed so I am not sure what the seed is.
To me, it "looks" like Penstemon seed, but my memory tells me it came from Angelonia.

The reason I have not responded to this thread before now is this thread never did appear on the front of my Dave's Garden page. I have that happen fairly frequently. Can AnyOne please tell me to whom I need to write to about this? I miss out on info cause it never pops back up on my front page.

A fellow Dave Gardener member happened to tell me someone had answered Nicotania.

Can't help on your seeds...but to make sure you're notified when people respond to your threads, go to "My info" (near the top of the page just under the various navigation tabs), then click "preferences" and make sure "auto watch threads" is turned on. I believe that the default is to have this checked, so unless you unchecked it at some point (accidentally or on purpose) it should be checked. If it's checked, then make sure after you post (or start a thread) on the page that comes up after posting don't click on the link to stop watching that thread.

Okay, those seed pods that I have certainly don't look like the Angelonia seed pods in the posted picture. It's got to be Penstemon cobaea. It's the only thing I have that looks like that seed. I sure don't remember cutting the stem off. Thanks for the post.

I will check the directions regarding not receiving posts on my home page. This post did not show up, I had to go to the forum and find this thread. Sometimes it shows up on the front page and other times it doesn't.

I think Penstemon is a match.

Your home page can be arranged different ways. Mine has Watched threads high up on the page. I think this is under Preferences and lets you choose where things are seen when you open your home page. Hope this helps.
