Thank you. I had narrowed my 2-hour internet search down to the possibility that it might be a crab apple (malus) and not prunus as the owner had thought it might be.
I don't wan to sound arrogant but it should be a crab apple (malus sp.). I live in the state of Washington so it is prevalent here for me to photograph.
