Looks like hydrangea. ?

Beautiful, BC(Zone 9b)

Although I agree it looks like a Hydrangea, which would probably be the cultivar 'Lemon Daddy', I think this plant is Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/56959/ based on leaf shape, overall plant size & habit.

Brilliant growin....thank you....!!.

Philadelphus coronarius 'Aureus' it is.......!!...:-)

(Oops, didn't see op's response until I posted this. Here it is anyway!)
Hmm . . . the Philadelphus leaf texture does look even closer, but ZenOne's bush doesn't quite have the strongly arcuate veins of the Philadelphus . . . intriguing! Perhaps you're right, or perhaps something else in Hydrangaceae? There are so many species of Hydrangea. Could it be Hydrangea arborescens?
ZenOne, was the bush pale green all summer long, or is this just the fall color?

spoonlegs....thanks for your help.......I believe the plant has been this colour all year .....but I can see why you feel it could be Hydrangea arborescens....
I will try to find out details regarding how it blooms if I can.....
