With the exception of colour, we saw one identical to your pictures. Ours was arctic white, with bits of bright red on it. Its' significant feature were a series of red rings going around the abdomen, much like a bullseye, or the nose cone of a WWII fighter. Just brilliant.
It was found on Stag Island, in the St Clair River, just south of Sarnia, Ontario. For those who are geographically challenged, this is at the south end of Lake Huron, about an hours drive north of Detroit.
