This was very happy in my zone 5 garden until it got swamped between a rampant saponaria and a robust nepeta. I'd like to get it again, but have no record of what it was. Does anyone recognize it?

It doesn't appear to be Agastache. Looks more along the lines of a Nepeta maybe, e.g. Nepeta grandiflora... ? (I don't think that's quite right though.)

Do you have a close-up of the flowers?

No, unfortunately. I know I once had an Agastache there but it's been gone for at least a couple of years. I came across these pictures from 2008 and thought I'd see if anyone knew what it was. Interesting, I see that the flowers could resemble nepeta, but not so sure about the foliage. Also, it seems too upright for a nepeta. Any other thoughts? Whatever it is, I'd like to have it again!
