Need ID for this orange longwing

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

The quality of photos not good but some of you are so good, it wont matter. It was nectaring on Lantana and really seemed interested in my romaine, my potatoes, or my asparagus. These are all int he same bed where it kept going back to. There were two of them at first fighting or chasing in the air. Identical longwings almost solid orange on top but the ventral side had some stronger markings. Unable to get good photo of this. The wind was blowing and the butterfly was pumping its wings often. TIA for your help.

I think Imay have solved this. Is it a male Julia?

Red Oak, TX

Yes, definitely a Julia Longwing (Dryas iulia). I had one in my yard up here in Dallas County last week.
