Go buy a big block of ice and sit around that for a few minutes. Then it melts. Oh, and by the way, what are "balmy" evenings? Just kidding, but with a grain of truth. My neighbor built his own fire pit on his deck but it looks more like a fireplace than a pit. We dont usually get a winter day until about Super Bowl so it will be great for a Super Bowl party. You do make it sound enticing tho.

I live in Oklahoma and I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't have constructed my pit without huge bbq potential. Good for a conversation starter about how you are "grilling all wrong" too.
