We pulled the covers Thursday, it took 15 people working all day and part of the next day but we are almost finished. We still have to install straps on the ratchets, but the covers are secure. Just in time, a cold front is coming thru tomorrow with sustained winds of 25-35 with gusts up to 40mph and temps dropping into low 50's to possible high 40's. I have 4ft tall tomatoes on stakes waiting for the main frame to be finished so they can grow on strings so can't afford wind blowing them around.
We ordered these hoop houses last year and nothing, I mean not one part of this whole fiasco, has been as ordered! These monsters are 13.5 ft tall, 30 ft wide and 100 ft long with custom covers made of translucent fabric.
