15 months ago this was still a bare mound of dirt , some 250 plants are to be installed on this mountain feature. 190 - 200 already planted.

This "mountain " is some 5 feet tall, 135 feet long following the ridgeline, 60 feet wide at the widest point . The pergola was built on one of it's two peaks and several trails wander through/over the feature.

A view of the backside;

Looking good; who needs to go the Boyce Thompson when they can visit you?

That's a goal , there is likely in excess of 600 unique vatieties ( that is not the number of plants, there are over 15 saguaro's and duplicates of a number of others) of cactus and succulents in the "cactus patch" area of the garden . We are attempting to catalog over the winter just what is here . The "cactus patch" is about 1/2 - 3/4 of an acre out a 4 acre property .

You are invited to come check it out frogymon, there are other things going on here as well .
