Tiered Plate Tower

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

This is my first attempt at glass art. Thought this would make a real nice serving plate. Imagine candies in the top, then cookies and cupcakes on the bottom?

Are you gluing them? I really like your arrangement....

Thanks Barb, yes I sand them and then glue.

I can picture it filled with goodies!!! and a festive bow around the bottom or perhaps some glittering pinecones.......

Very cool... and it looks like you may be looking to make another (I see more glassware in the background )

Ya know, i was thinking it'd be extra cool if you could some how get lights in each of the glasses...no clue how you'd do that but it would be cool :-)

I could always put a votive cup on the plates and add a candle.
Yes, I plan to make many more and have been working on the beaded wine glasses to give as gifts to my breast cancer bosom buddies!

I plan to use this as a display at our March show, put candies in the top, then cookies and maybe cupcakes on the bottom and give them out as treats?

Very nice......
