Last year I collected several of these plants from neighbors for my compost pile. Some of the Poinsettias were in great shape so I planted them. Now they are the blooming and adding some much needed color this time of the year. I had the thought of potting some for the inside of our home, but didn't want to disturb the plants. I live in Central Florida zone 9 and will be on the lookout for discarded Poinsettias again this year.
