Succulent type plant with tiny red & yellow flowers

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

I'd like to ID this plant - it's a succulent type leaf with long shoots that have either red & yellow or purple flowers on the ends of these long shoots - it also produces seed pods that hang from these shoots - the plant roots itself so you can easily replant - in fact they do well out of soil for a couple of weeks. I need to know what it's called so I can find out if it's poisonous for my new puppy - she's attracted to the plant for only puppy knows the reason! lol

Here is a couple pictures the plant is the one in the middle - the end one is a plumeria - this is an older picture!

Thanks
Karen
