I have tried to make this pattern for two days now but for some reason it just won't come out right.
I am not sure what I'm doing wrong, is there anyone willing to take a look at the pattern and maybe break it down into simpler terms? I suspect part of the problem is that the pattern is from the UK and if I recall US patterns are a bit different.
Or am I wrong? I remember Grams saying something about their pattern abbraviations don't match up with ours.
Any how if anyone out there is willing to lend a hand I'd appreciate it.

Pretty motif! British crochet is different than U.S., many of their stitches are different sizes.

Sending a link to a chart, hope this helps.

AHHHHHH That explains it! Silly peoples why can't we all just use the same terms.
so basicly everything I did was twice what it should have been. I knew by round 3 that it was way bigger than the pattern said it would be, but I always though that in a circle if you have 20 in the ch, then you double the next step this on says to do 48 is this a translation issue?
